“My daughter started going here part-time about 3.5 years old. This school was the first and only one I walked through. The first thing I noticed was the director (Suzanne) had the phone. She answered it immediately and it was actually a parent calling to check on his son (after being dropped off for only an hour). She walked me to his classroom, check with the boy and his teacher and reported back. Even offered the parent to speak with the child. The other thing I LOVE is the app they provide. You get daily reminders (field trips, pajama day tomorrow, please sign this or that waiver). Also asking a question was so easy and always got a response within minutes. You will be notified for WHATEVER YOU WANT!! Every time they go potty. Every nap (time and place), how many bottles, how much water and food the have. Since COVID-19, they had to close down like every other school but I will be happy to say my other baby girl will be attending as soon as they open!! (My oldest now starts kindergarten). Thanks for doing a great job guys!!”

Always go with you gut. There will never be no one else better to care for your child but yourself; but AKL, you really get that family feeling. My daughter is enrolled in the TK program and she's absolutely loves to go to school everyday. Each year since she was 6 months, she has been to a different day from large corporations to small family in-home (we left these places because we moved or the in-home closed for personal reasons). Once we were on the search for a new day care in Roseville, we toured all daycares facilities along pleasant grove and Douglas. On paper, I was impressed with the new large facilities that had real time video, organic meals, extra curricular programs like Spanish and Chinese. At AKL you might not get all the bells and whistles, but you know your children are loved. Ms. Diane is our primary teacher, she might hate me for saying this, but we chose her because we wanted that unconditional grandma love. Ms. Daisy and Ms. Marissa are also amazing and are like really cool aunts my daughter absolutely adores. The TK program goes above and beyond. My daughter is thriving in "academics" and loves to show me what she learned. She is always excited to go to school. For the short time we have been enrolled they had tooth fairy visits, so many fun field trips, and holiday parties. I’m saddened that our time there has been cut short due to Covid-19, but we will enroll our youngest again once she is ready for TK. One last note, due to the pandemic, my daughter was unable to celebrate her birthday with her friends at school. Her teachers, friends, and the director, Ms. Suzanne, helped us celebrate her birthday with a parade in our neighborhood. They went above and beyond with signs and gifts to make sure my daughter had a special day. Thank you AKL.

“As a teacher and a parent, I have very high standards when it comes to my sons education and care . My wife and I moved to Roseville 9 months ago and I toured many different schools and I was not impressed in the least at what I saw. At one point, we nearly gave up, until I found A Kid's Life preschool ! When I toured the facility, I was happy to discover a school that is very clean and well maintained. The director actively repairs and replaces the children's bikes and playground equipment when needed. Each classroom is spotless clean and cleaned daily and at the end of each week . The educational focus for the children is on phonemic awareness and letter sound correspondence, which is proven to be directly correlated with higher levels of educational success later in life. From the director, to the staff, to my son's amazing teacher, my wife and I have found nothing but professionalism and genuine care and compassion from the people that run and operate this gem of a school !! I highly recommend A Kid's Life.”

“From the moment we (as nervous, new parents of a 5 month old) toured this facility, it felt right. Ms. Suzanne (the Director) gave us a tour of the adorable facility - fully fenced and gated with separate areas for different aged kiddos. They take 3 months through preschool aged kids, with developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for each age group. Our daughter is part of the infant room - where they use the app, Kinderlime. Over the course of the day, I receive alerts about her diaper changes, her naps, her feeding schedule, and photos of her activities. (seriously - my kid has been painting since 5 months old! hah). Through the app they can message parents directly and respond to questions. The staff are incredible - the infant room teachers are absolutely wonderful and feel like an extended part of our family. They are always willing to provide me with advice, or simply chat about my child. Even the teachers from the other rooms know our daughter's name, and I often hear stories and feedback from Ms. Suzanne herself about my daughter. It's truly individual care, and everyone knows every child. Now that she's almost 1.5, my daughter comes home with all kinds of things she has learned from AKL - like sign language, and amazing motor skills, and new songs. I know that working moms often feel guilty about time apart from their child, but I know that my daughter gets so much more out of being at AKL than I could ever give her alone. We absolutely LOVE it - and so does she.”

“We love A Kid's Life. Both my kids are always happy to go to school and see their friends. The teachers are all amazing and really care about the children. My daughter was in the Pre-K program last year and learned so much. She also had a chance to work on her social and emotional development through creative play. The summer Pre-K program was AMAZING! The teachers put on different themes for each week and put so much effort into making each week special and unique. My son, who is almost 2, loves going to his class too. He is learning fun songs and does a bunch of art work throughout the week. We have been very happy with A Kid's Life and will continue to recommend this great school!”

“My son coming here and learning about anything and everything is the best feeling ever comes home every day with a smile and telling me about all the new things he has learned! All the teachers here are the best any mother and father can ask for and trust with our littles. Mr. Edmond really did his magic on the place and I honestly can’t wait to see what else he has up his sleeve! Now my daughter goes here and she’s also learning so much from learning to crawl and walk and now sign language is definitely the best! Thanks to all the teachers and Susan. They have a special place in my heart and I cant wait to hear about more things my kiddos are learning.! And the summer camp! Definitely a time to remember for my son.”

“We love AKL (and their darling elephant too)! AKL is very much extended family and a big part of our lives. Our girls are safe, loved, learning important skills to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond from ZOOphonics and cultural diversity to community based field trips and most importantly are well taken care of by a staff of amazing teachers and administrators who truly care about the kids and take the time to communicate with us throughout the day with photos and updates to ensure we know what is going on with our girls.”

A Kid's Life is an amazing school that combines loving support with engaging curriculum that makes our children love attending each day. We've had amazing experiences with the preschool class when we had a 3 year old, transitional kindergarten program for our 4-5 year old, and the school age class for our 7 year old. The school is run by an amazing team of gifted teachers that become part of your family. Our children love their teachers so much and the care and effort this school puts forth makes dropping your little one off and going to work each day that much easier. They have amazing family events like harvest festivals and holiday pageants and take the kids on wonderful field trip experiences. As an elementary teacher I am thrilled by my son's preparedness for kindergarten. In TK he has mastered his phonics, numbers, and is ahead in sight words- all while LOVING learning! My school age daughter loves the connection she has with her teacher- she's someone my daughter will admire for years beyond daycare. A Kid's Life has become a loved part of our life!
