Our Facility

A KID’S LIFE is your child’s second home. A place they can and should feel warm and welcome! With your child’s safety in mind, our school provides a safe gated community with locked gate access for families and visitors. Our center provides a classroom environment filled with age-appropriate centers that are at a safe reach for your child. Our classrooms are designed for our children to work hands on in areas for circle time, dramatic play, reading/writing, art, blocks, science, and other areas for manipulating age appropriate objects. All areas naturally stimulate a child’s intuition to play and learn.

Aside from our wonderful classrooms, our school is equipped with outdoor play areas for our infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-agers. We have two amazing playgrounds that when children are ready, can engage in individual or group activities. For our infants and toddlers, we have a safe age-appropriate playground with an outdoor imaginative kitchen and covered sandbox. For our preschool aged children and up, we have a sports area for large group activities and a tricycle/scooter track. We can create wonderful art pieces in our outdoor art studio. If you would like to get your hands dirty, try building in our covered sandboxes that are in both playgrounds. Lastly, our outdoor garden is a wonderful way our children can take pride in planting a seed and maintaining its growth. It’s an exciting process as they see our vegetables grow!

Enrichment Classes

We have partnered with Tutu Performing Arts and Soccer Shots of Sacramento for classes on-site at AKL. These entities are separate from AKL but can be offered to your child for a separate fee that is handled directly with the organization. Tutu Performing Arts Ballet class offers on-site pre-ballet and dance instruction, Students learn ballet positions, steps,, and terminology while discovering rhythm and coordination. These classes enhance creativity, self-confidence, and fitness in a fun and lively environment. Our children absolutely love it! Our Soccer Shots practice is hosted outdoors where we learn basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Both Tutu Performing Arts and Soccer Shots teach our children teamwork and growth. For more information, please ask your Center Director.
